the movie is one star, but if you search for user reviews, you won’t find a single written review explaining why (as of this writing). This is because electoral politics definitely came in and destroyed any chance of a real ranking.
I went to see the movie on opening night and it was very good, exceeding my expectations
He does a great job of recreating the 70s and 80s, and Stan does a great job of playing the evolution of Donald Trump. Roy Cohn is also wonderfully played by Jeremy Strong, who even took the time to analyze Cohn’s mannerisms and the way he spoke and incorporated that into his performance.
they got mixed up
The film is practically devoid of politics, hints at Cohn’s political past and features a few politicians, but much of the film is about how young Donald Trump learns to navigate the complex upper echelon of society where politics, law and money intersect.
